Can I visit Refuge Ridge?

We welcome visitors by appointment. Please contact us to schedule a visit so we can ensure the safety of both our guests and our animals.

Do you adopt out wolfdogs?

Refuge Ridge does not adopt out wolfdogs. Our animals are permanent residents of the sanctuary. If you are interested in adopting a wolfdog, we recommend contacting local sanctuaries about available animals.

How can I support Refuge Ridge?

You can support us by donating, sponsoring a wolfdog, volunteering your time, shopping our merchandise, or simply spreading the word about our mission. Every bit helps!

Are wolfdogs legal to own?

How many animals live at Refuge Ridge?

We currently have 22 resident wolfdogs and 3 dogs living at the sanctuary. Each animal has their own unique story and personality. Visit our Residents page to meet them all.

Can I volunteer?

Yes! We welcome volunteers who are passionate about our mission. Volunteer tasks include feeding animals, daily care, weedeating and mowing, and computer work. Visit our Volunteer page to learn more.

Is Refuge Ridge a 501(c)(3) nonprofit?

Yes, Refuge Ridge Environmental Education is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

What does it cost to run the sanctuary?

It costs approximately $100 a day to feed all of our animals. Beyond food, we have veterinary care, habitat maintenance, and operational costs. Your donations directly support the care of our residents.
