Education

At Refuge Ridge, we believe that our environment should be a priority. After all, if we destroy the planet, we won't be around to worry about anything else. Our wolf and wolfdog residents help people learn to see predators as a vital part of our ecosystem and understand the importance of maintaining wild spaces.

Our Mission

Refuge Ridge serves as home to several rescued wolfdogs, and dogs. As well as providing a safe place for local wildlife to live in peace. Our mission is to provide education on the importance of protecting the environment, including predator education, providing tips for green living, and encouraging the humane treatment of all animals, pets and wildlife alike.

Motaki

Featured Animals

Motaki means Shadow. Named after one of the Sawtooth pack she is our friendliest pup. She loves everyone. The biggest girl in the new litter she holds her own with Bran when he would run right over the others.

Environmental Education

One of the most effective ways we can help the planet is by changing our own actions. Choosing reusable items whenever possible can have a significant impact on our environmental footprint.

Reusable water bottles, travel mugs, shopping bags, and even straws drastically reduce daily waste, and they're simple enough that even I've managed to make the switch.
